Frequently Asked Questions
What is Telyx AI?
Telyx AI is a platform for building AI agents that talk to your team on Slack and Telegram. Each agent keeps its own context and conversation history so threads stay coherent.
What can I use it for?
Support replies, internal Q&A, and workflow help. Anything you’d normally do in chat—repetitive answers, triage, routing—you can hand off to an agent.
Which channels does Telyx AI support?
Slack and Telegram. You connect each agent to the channels you choose, so one agent can handle support in #help while another runs in a private Telegram group.
Can I create multiple agents?
Yes. Each agent has its own instructions, channels, threads, and memory. Run one for support, another for internal questions, another for a specific project.
Does Telyx AI remember past conversations?
Yes. Agents use scoped memory so they keep context over time. Later replies in the same thread are more relevant because they know what was already said.
Can I connect my own AI provider or API key?
Yes. Add your own AI connections and assign them to agents. You pick the model and provider; we handle the channel wiring.
Can Telyx AI connect to GitHub?
Yes. Connect a GitHub installation and agents can use repo context—code, issues, PRs—in their answers and workflows.
How do plans and limits work?
Plans come with weekly message limits. Pick the tier that matches your volume; you can change it as usage grows.
How long does setup take?
Connect your first channel and get an agent replying in a few minutes. After that you can add more channels, GitHub, or extra agents as you need them.
